Harmonic bags are provided with side folds, a seal along the length on the back and a sealed bottom. Because of this construction they are easy to fill by hand and use both standing and lying. Think of cakes and stollen, but also stroopwafels and other cakes do fine in a harmonica bag.

Harmonica bags are also suitable for machine filling.
